Please help Matt & Stephanie Hillyer represent the USA at Karate’s “World Championships,” the WUKF World Cup, in Poland in mid-October.

The Events
Matt & Stephanie are members of the AAU 2014 US National Karate Team recently selected to represent the USA in the WUKF Junior World Cup this October 13-20th and the Open Shito-Ryu Karate World Cup this December 5-7th, 2014.

The 2014 WUKF Junior World Cup is a world championship for Children, Cadets, and Juniors. This year’s championships are held in Szczecin, Poland.

The Open Shito-Ryu Karate World Cup is the world championship for their particular style of Karate (Shito Ryu). This world championship is held every 4 years. Budapest, Hungary will host this event from December 5-7, 2014.

Qualification
Due to Matt & Stephanie’s outstanding performances at the 2014 AAU US Junior Olympics and during the AAU’s US National Team Trials, they were both selected for the AAU’s US National Karate Team and international competition.

It is an honor to be selected to represent your country in one of these international events.

Matt and Stephanie have the rare privilege of being selected to represent the US in both of these events because of their hard work and the level of excellence they have achieved in Karate at a very young age.

National Champions & International Competition.
Both Matt & Stephanie are 2014 AAU US Junior Olympics champions, 2014 AAU Joel Ferrell Memorial Award recipients, USA-NKF National champions, and US Open & Junior International Cup champions. They have also won multiple gold medals at the Honolulu International Invitational, Washington Karate Association International Invitational and West Coast Open. This past December 2013 Matthew competed in Fukuoka, Japan in the 8th Seiji Nishimura Matsuri Friendship Karate-Do Championship and won the gold medal in kata.
