Kareem Badawi's Legacy: Helping those in Need
Donation protected
On New Year's Eve, my brother, Kareem Badawi, was tragically killed in the terrorist attack in New Orleans. He was a bright light in our lives — a son, brother, and friend to many.
In the wake of this senseless act of violence, I am devastated yet determined to honor my brother’s legacy in a meaningful way.
The prophet said, "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for ongoing charity."
So, I hope to make as much change as possible in Kareem’s name.
The tragic events in New Orleans have left a hole in our hearts, but I choose to honor my brother’s memory by doing something that will continue to give long after we’re gone.
All donations will go directly to charity and to causes for those in need. This includes the creation of water wells, sponsoring orphans, and other sources of donation and assistance in Kareem's name insha'Allah.
I also ask for your support through your prayers and help sharing this campaign with others. Many have asked what they can do to support my family, and all I could wish for is for Kareem to continue to bring happiness and good in this life as he did every day of his.
Jazakum Allahu Khair for your support and for keeping my brother, and all the victims of this senseless attack, in your thoughts and prayers. May Allah (SWT) bless you with peace and reward.
With gratitude,
