Karen Allen Salon is graciously asking our esteemed community and guests for ANY charitable donations to provide economic relief for our amazing KA team members. As a “THANK YOU” in advance, we’ve created an incentive program to help us with our team relief funding.

For every $25 donation, you will qualify for a giveaway! Our prize includes a chance to win an Aveda basket valued at $750 filled with Aveda products and includes a $100 Gift Card to use at Karen Allen Salon once we re-open.
Situational Context:
The Karen Allen Salon team has dedicated their careers to bringing our guests joy, beauty, and wellness for the past 20 years. Our team loves what they do. They love the relationships they’ve built with their guests. And they love servicing and giving back to their community any chance they can. Unfortunately, all of the above mentioned has come to a staggering stop when the Corona Virus pandemic swept the nation.
On March 20th, 2020 – Karen Allen closed both of our salons for the foreseeable future and 50 team members were temporarily laid off. It was a painful decision that was forced upon us in direct relation to the crisis. Our employees are paid hourly, based on services which are directly tied to our sales. Gratuities are also a part of their income. With our salons being closed, unemployment funding does not cover the basic cost of living in many cases. Many of our team members are moms, or they serve as the main source of income for their families.
As we are a small local business, we do not have the financial reserves needed to fully assist our team members during this type of crisis. We hope that our community and guests can support our team members now, at a time when they need it the most.
Where Your Donation Will Be Distributed

Karen, the owner, and founder of the business has guaranteed to not take any of the proceeds made from this fundraiser. She has also promised that 0% of the proceeds will go towards any business operational cost (rent, utilities, supplies, etc). This fundraiser is 100% for the team at KA and your donation will go directly into the hands of our dedicated team members during these challenging times.
