Let's Help Karen Fight Like a Girl!
Donation protected
Our girl Karen has been dealt a tough hand recently. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have to endure weekly chemo treatments for SIX months. As most of us know, Karen is self-employed as a hair stylist which means she will likely be losing out on a good chunk of income during this time as her ability to work will obviously be determined by how she is handling the treatments.
There is an in-person fundraiser planned as well and this is not intended to take the place of that, just give better access to those that may not be able to make it or prefer to donate this way.
Jon is also going to have his own journey taking care of his bride throughout this. My hope is to give them any support we can to help take some of the burden and worry away, especially financially. She's always a bright light and important to so many. Join me in gifting any amount possible to this sweet couple who are used to being on the giving end, not the receiving end. I'm starting with $1500 but I know we can do better so I'll hopefully get to update that goal soon.
