Karen Booker medical expenses

Karen Booker, the mother of two girls and married to her husband Tom, is a teacher and recent cancer survivor. On November 4th, 2022, Karen suffered a massive stroke. She was in the ICU for a week following emergency surgery and a craniotomy to relieve pressure on her brain. Karen was moved to a hospital room for several days and then transported to a rehabilitation facility. In early December, she will head home but will still require daily professional at-home care and rehabilitation.

Karen spent the last two years fighting cancer. Karen and Tom didn't ask for help during that time and took it upon themselves to pay for her treatments and surgery. This stroke is a huge financial setback.
