Karen Bowers Baxter

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts, mourning the sudden loss of a truly remarkable wife, mother, and friend, Karen Baxter.

Karen was admitted to the hospital with an infection and quickly learned she also had Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which prevented her body from being able to fight the infection. She passed away, surrounded by family, on Saturday, March 30, 2024. She is survived by her husband and six beautiful children.

Karen was a beacon of light in our lives and a source of unwavering love, support, and joy to everyone she encountered. We have all been touched by Karen's boundless compassion - her drive to love, serve, and cheer on everyone around her. She had a unique gift of helping everyone feel like they belonged, whether you were 7 years old or 70.

Her sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts and community.
