The Karen Brownell Memorial Fundraiser
Donation protected
On the morning of Friday, March 27th, the world lost a beautiful soul and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend when Karen Brownell suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. At this time, the manner of death is thought to be cardiac-related, but the family is still awaiting an official cause. Karen was the mother figure everyone loved and cherished. The one who opened her home and took anyone and everyone in and loved unconditionally. The one who would do anything for anybody. The one with a heart as big and bright as her smile.
In this instance, funeral service expenses are quite substantial (even more so now with precautions put in place due to the current world pandemic) and quite unexpected, as Karen did not have life insurance. The family is asking for assistance in diffusing the cost, no matter how small, to aid in the process of laying her to rest.
They know that people are facing economic and financial hardships and challenges now more than ever due to the Covid19 outbreak and it may prove difficult to help during this time, but helping the Pacheco/Brownell families find peace and closure is a very kind-hearted gesture that they would appreciate greatly.
On behalf of the family, they would like to extend a very sincere "thank you" to those that have come to visit, called, or messaged to show your love and support during this trying time. Please keep Karen's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to mourn her unexpected passing, one that has left a huge void in all of our hearts but finds peace and comfort knowing that she is once again reunited with her beloved David ❤
Service information for Karen is as follows:
The viewing will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 12pm-3pm at Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home.
750 Uvalde Rd. Houston, Tx 77015
For anyone attending, please know that with the current coronavirus situation, they will only be letting 10 people in at a time.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
