Karen Gabriel killed in car crash fundraiser

She was the loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Her family is utterly devastated. Her son, Matthew was seriously injured in the accident as was her son in-law and family friend. Her husband was hospitalized the same day due to an unrelated illness. This family has been hit hard in every way possible and I am looking to raise funds to help with medical and funeral costs. If you knew Karen, you would know that she was everyone's cheerleader. She wanted everyone to do well and went over and above to encourage others. She took care of her family and everyone around her. She loved her family fiercely and was everyone's go-to. She was the matriarch, the chef, the boo-boo kisser. She was the I-got-you, the first person to knock on the door when others were in need. She was the kindest, most unselfish, special person you could every hope to know. She rooted for everyone! To say this loss is devastating to her family is an understatement. This family does not ask for help easily, but sometimes when you're knocked to your knees, you have to lift your head, wipe our tears, reach out and tell someone "I need some help".
