Karen Gerard Harbor High Adult Education

On behalf of teachers everywhere and for one of our own in Huron Valley Schools, we are requesting donations to help our colleague overcome some medical challenges that have recently caused a significant hurdle in her life.

Karen Gerard has been supporting, caring, teaching, and advising students for more than 20 years in our Huron Valley Schools community, Lakeland High School, Summer School, Adult Education, Harbor High School…

She is a passionate friend, counselor, guide, advocate...and mom to all who have struggled through life’s twisted walkways on their road to success. Despite the size of the challenge or the scale of the situation, Karen handles each and every challenge with humor, humility, and heart. And with her heart and with her actions, she has saved and changed the lives of countless students.

And in everything she does… she cares. She is passionate about her field, her students, and their futures, and it is on display in every small moment, every decision, every kind word, and in…every student that comes into her office and classroom.

And now she needs us. So please give as much as you are able to support this tremendous educator, mother, and friend.
