Karen Ireland Dance Centre Flood Appeal

Hi there, my name is Bryce and I'm joined by Charlotte, we're here to fundraise for the Karen Ireland Dance Centre. During the recent record-breaking floods, our studio in Lismore lost everything only five years on from the 2017 flood which completely inundated the bottom level.

 

Karen Ireland Dance Centre has provided elite classical training to the Northern Rivers for over twenty years, with the student's high calibre achievements speaking for themselves, 1st place Sydney Eisteddfod, Prix de Lausanne candidate, top 12 Finals YAGP New York, gold and silver medalist Genee International Ballet Competition, Ballet Dortmund company member, Queensland Ballet company member. To see it not reopen would deprive the next generation of aspiring ballet dancers of achieving their goals. We hope to raise enough money to help fund a new studio space, plus replace ballet equipment to help rebuild the Karen Ireland Dance Centre to its former glory so it can continue to nurture ballet talent all the way to the big stage.
