Support for Karen Kuntz
Donation protected
Many friends, family, along with others in Greenfield & The Run have been requesting a way to donate towards unexpected medical expenses, etc. for my mom. I apologize as I don’t know everyone as some have been her customers throughout her years of bartending. This seemed to be the easiest way I could think of that everyone could share this and give those who wish to make a donation the opportunity to do so.
If you know Karen she has never been one to sit around and do nothing. All of my life she has always worked, came home cooked dinner, cleaned, and put her family and everyone else before herself. She dedicated 48 years of her life cooking & bartending at 3806 Acorn Street which has changed owners and names several times over those years (Sovyaks, McCarthy's, Hollow Inn, Chaser's and currently Zano's) but I feel she deserves the gold star for being the longest employee ever! She made many friends and memories over those years but unfortunately her life changed in June and she has been unable to work due to being diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.
She has been having chemo treatments but she has also had a lot of complications which resulted in multiple hospital stays for weeks at a time, back and forth for Dr appointments, etc.. She has been fighting her way through this as much as she can and we support her decisions 100%. My mom has not asked for anything from anyone and I assure you I received some "Karen" attitude when I told her I was creating this. Please do not feel obligated to make a donation as your prayers and support for my mom through this would mean the world to my family!
Thank you in advance!
