Karen, Mama & Nana

I'm incredibly sad to even have to share this update. Karen Anne Smith was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, riddled in and out of her entire body. There is no cure. There is no chance of pulling through. And my family can't Thank everyone enough for the help we already have received. As well as everyone going out and reaching to us personally. Karen was an amazing woman. A wonderful wife, the best mother anyone could've asked for. And as of recently, the most caring and amazing nana that ever walked beside us. She deserved so much more than what she got in return. The love she gave was unconditional and had no boundaries to everyone we knew. She treated every friend like they were her own. She wanted nothing more to spread love and joy to her grandchildren and anyone she knew. Sadly, she won't make it any further. She fought the most she could, and she fought hard. And she shouldn't have to fight anymore. Any donation will go to her funeral and left over Financials to cover anything left behind. Again I can't thank everyone enough who shared, donated, or reached out to us during this time. My heart is heavy and I appreciate all of you.

Hello all! My name is Dana, and I'm putting this together for Mama. She's gone through a lot recently, and to be honest this is the start of a long road. Some of you may know my mom has cancer and is supposed to get a bone marrow transplant in January. Just shy of this she had to go to the ER to have a major surgery on her lung and throat. She's currently in the ICU and as a family we're trying to get a head start on the financial burden we are going to face. Anything will help. As most of her friends already know she's a kind person who has always put everyone ahead of herself and has the most love in the world for everyone. She's in a position where she would never ask for help but she needs to. So I ask anyone who can spare anything at all, as a family we would appreciate it. Even if you cant, just sharing this post would mean a lot to all of us. Thank you all for taking your time to reach out and go through this with us, as we have a long road ahead.
