It is with a very heavy heart that I reshare this fundraiser, now to support Karen's husband and family as they bring Karen home. Sending love and gratitude, above all for your ongoing prayers for our friend and teacher's good journey. Ktahwaalul, nii njoos waak nii shkoolhaaluwaas, laapii-uch kuneewul.

Koolamalsihmwa, njoosak, I'm posting an update to share news, at Karen's request, about how she and Michael are doing. Mike had his surgery on 18 August, which was very successful; he's had to have a second procedure to add a pacemaker, which is happening today (29 Aug). Karen has also been admitted to the hospital for a few days, and I am hoping to have good news to report soon. Karen asked me to say that she is grateful for the prayers and good wishes, and that she appreciates your messages of support even though she is a little overwhelmed and can't reply individually right now. Some of you asked me if it's still possible to offer tangible support, and so I am reopening the GoFundMe in case any of you didn't get a chance. Sending love together with gratitude to be part of such a supportive community of language learners and friends. Ktahwaalulohmwa!
Hi, my name is Suzanne and I'm fundraising for Karen Mosko (Munsee Delaware Nation). Karen is a teacher of Lunaape language who could use some support from those who have had the opportunity to learn in her classes, which she has taught for many years both in person and online. Health issues that have required repeated hospitalization over the last several months have caused substantial financial challenges, and her husband's upcoming surgery in the US will cause additional related expenses. I know that Karen's students, both past and present, will share my wish to help Karen and Michael get past this difficult time in a good way. Thank you, anushiik, for whatever you are able to give, and for any good wishes and prayers you can offer.
