I have an amazing opportunity to go to Tanzania, Africa for my first mission’s assignment. While there I will have the opportunity to work with Joy In the Harvest Ministry.
Missionaries Lowell and Claudia Wertz have been in Tanzania for 30 years. They are 74 years old.
Ministries will consist of:
- Feeding orphans (street children)
- Ministering to the handicaped and lepers at a camp
- Visiting a refugee camp where over 200,000 refugees are living
- Teaching, sharing, and praying for widows
- Participating in their radio ministry
- Participating in their computer youth school
- Other ministry opportunities as well
After 40 years in ministry, this is a monumental opportunity and I am so excited to be a part of this moment.

My expenses total $4000 which includes flight, hotel and meals and other incidentals.
This is not a vacation. I am looking forward to doing the work of the ministry.
