Karen Perez, Lung transplant

Back in 2020 an energetic, eventful, full of life individual was falsely diagnosed with asthma. With proper testing, with the right doctors, turned out to be Pulmonary Hypertension. Karen Perez (31) has been battling with this medical condition for the past 2 years. This condition attacks the heart and lungs but also causes major side effects such as: nausea, headaches, shortness of breath, swelling and many others. The medication she is currently on can only do so much. Medical examiner’s have stated that the best course of action is a transplant. These generous donations will go to her medical expenses as she is currently on ECMO which helps the heart rest while she is waiting for surgery .
