Karen Risner, an angel getting her wings.

My mother, Karen Risner, is currently in Stien Hospice and expected to pass at anytiime. She lost her eyesight 7 years ago, and was diagnosed with a terminal illness shortly after. Before those unfortunate incidents, she literally acted as an angel on this Earth! The matriarch of our family who was so much more than a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, or a sister. She was a friend and confidant to so many in their own times of need. In her life-filled days, she spent her time loving and serving God through her lifestyle of helping others. She so freely gave of herself whether it be time, money, or even a hug to someone hurting. Family, friend, stranger, and even foe have experienced her loving and giving heart. If she knew someone was in need, she couldn't be satisfied until she helped that need. She gave with her heart and made sure each person knew that the help was not from her but from God above. So many of needs she covered were done anonymously because she wanted God to recieve the glory.

Now after a few years of suffering this terminal illness, she is waiting to go home, to heaven, to be with her Father. However, the family is in need of funds to cover burial and family expenses. The past few years have been finiancially hard on the family as it has been for many families these days. We would appreciate any help greatly! If you cannot help finiancially, you can help by praying for her comfort in passing as well as the comfort and needs of my father, Arlie Risner, as he is losing his soulmate of 53 years. Kind words and actions are just like chicken soup to the soul.
