Karen Scinta- Rybinski's Funeral Arrangements
Donation protected
My mother Karen Scinta-Rybinski passed away March 11, 2021 from Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
Surrounded by her sons Cos Scinta, John Scinta, Karl Rybinski, daughter Karlene Rybinski, grandson Kyle Rybinski & granddaughter Kathryn Marie.
Born In Buffalo, Ny. She Moved to Florida in the late 70’s. Her profession was as a realtor for 40 plus years. Serving the community 30 + years on the Advisory Board for The City of Sunrise Board of Directors.
Her passion for writing, travel, photography & love of movies brought her to be an intensive part of Movie Industry from the early 80’s, as a Board Member of Florida Motion Picture Television Association & Ft.Lauderdale International Film Festival.
She fought a battle with Cancer for close to 8 years. Those that knew her, know that she doesn't give up easily. She was first diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Even with the weekly Chemo Treatments, she always stood on her feet and continued to serve the community & family as she could. Nothing was going to break the spirt and love my mother had...She was on her way to beat the cancer. During time of treatments, her body developed Bone Marrow & Blood Disease. Which meant Blood Transfusions and continued treatment.
Bringing us to present time 2021 wasn't the best year.
Previous Cancers were showing on scans, and radiation starts. The Blood Disease started taking over at this time and it was time to rest.
Without getting into every detail, science just wasn't working anymore.
The reason for the request will be for funeral expenses and forth coming bills that pertain to this matter.
My mothers final request is to be cremated & buried next to her Husband in Buffalo, Ny.
She purchased a plot to reserve the spot, but nothing else was prearranged.
Her transport to Buffalo is in June & TBD.
Any monies received & remaining will be spilt and donated to St. Judes's Children's Hospital and Cancer Research Institute.
* Feel free to share with those that knew her*
We appreciate your Love, Respect and Friendship for our mother.
