Karen Scott Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am reaching out to ask for some help for a very dear, and kindhearted person, Karen Scott. Karen is typically the person everyone else goes to for help. She is the first to raise her hand and volunteer for anyone else in need. She organizes and runs the United Way campaign at work and has organized and sent out hundreds of boxes for Operation Christma Child. She is just a naturally caring and upbeat person that can't help but to lift you up and put a smile on your face!

Unfortunately, Karen is facing some serious struggles right now. In December, Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was found to have moved into her back. She is dealing with procedures, surgeries, and treatments to fight against this awful diagnosis like the true warrior she is. Unfortunately, Karen hit a setback earlier this month she had a stomach ulcer perforation. This has made daily functioning very difficult including the ability to eat, walk, and generally take care of herself. As an independent person, who is always there for everyone else, asking for help is very difficult for Karen. However, today that is what I am doing on her behalf. Without the ability to work, medical bills, mortgage payments and daily living expenses are adding up. Let's please do what we can to support Karen during this rough time and show her that we care!
