Karen's Post Transplant Medication
My mother, Karen, was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) around 2014. In 2016, she was required to use oxygen 24/7, further affecting her quality of life. Later that year, she learned she was eligible for a lung transplant! On Sunday, November 5, 2017, she received her call from Temple Lung informing her that a lung match had been found. Later that evening, as we all held our breaths, she both entered and completed surgery. Her new life and journey of healing had officially begun. Her new medications will add up to nearly $1,000 every month. Please help us raise enough money to allow her to breathe easy and afford all that she needs for this upcoming year of her new and improved life!
