Kari Frazier's Scholarship Fund
The Kari Frazier Scholarship Fund is created in honor of Kari Frazier. Kari passed away unexpectedly on November 25th, 2014 at the age of 26. In her short life, she touched so many people, especially those in the volleyball world. Kari's energetic personality, drive to give 110% at everything she did and her caringness for her volleyball players and parents were what set her a part from other coaches and mentors.
Kari, a native of Mobile, loved the sport of volleyball as she played at Baker High School and then at the University of South Alabama. Her passion for this sport continued on as she coached both at the High School level and for Mobile Storm. She devoted her heart and soul to the Mobile Storm volleyball club and touched every player within that program personally.
This scholarship fund was created to remember and embrace the impact that Kari had on so many people. The scholarship will be given to one Mobile Storm player each year who embodies Coach Kari's values and characteristics: great work ethic, caringness for her teammates and others and the passion and desire for the sport that Kari loved so much.
