People always say that no ones perfect but you really were. You had the most beautiful soul, and the kindest heart, always looking out for others. Words don't do justice on how grateful I am, that I known you. You are such a beautiful soul inside and out and the fact that I was lucky enough to be in your presence is amazing to me. I'm beyond grateful, and I will forever cherish all the memories.
Joseph Fontana was born September 10 , 1985 an tragically passed away on September 10, 2019. Today Joseph would have been 34 years young .
Joe was a dedicated loving, fun father . He was a best friend to his wife Karissa for 9 years, the best son, brother and friend. He had a heart of a teddy bear, Joe was truly “One of a kind “ as most would say .
Joe was married to Karissa and had a 3 year old son, Giuseppe . He worked hard for his family and wanted nothing but the best for his wife and son .
Giuseppe Salvatore Fontana was born on October 2, 2015 with Congenital Heart Defect to his loving and strong parents, Joe and Karissa Fontana. His parents, were informed at their 20-week prenatal anatomy scan that their unborn child had a serious life-threatening heart defect, tetralogy of fallot with pulmonary atresia. Doctors were not certain he would survive. To add to the stress, he suffered a traumatic premature delivery, which resulted in fractures of the skull and wrists – the first of many
Giuseppe’s three years of life have been a roller coaster , to say the least. His family has endured many sleepless nights, scary moments, and heart wrenching pain of watching a child suffer.
Karissa has dealt with a lot of emotional pain,stress and agony in the past 3 years in her young life. Now the passing of her husband , best friend is no longer here to console her an let her know that everything will be okay . Karissa doesn’t know how to relieve the burden of the self-inflicted load that she once had the help and support from her husband . Without the financial support her husband provided for there family an the burden of everyday life ,bills and therapy there sons requires is still a heavy burden on her shoulders that no one should have to go through alone . He has always been her support system. Always empathetic, always loving. I know that this won't be easy in any sense of the word. I can't imagine the hurt and pain Karissa and Giuseppe are feeling must be feeling at this moment. I am praying for them, and they need your prayers too.
This fund is being established for the care of Karissa and Giuseppe . There will be many everyday expenses that will need to be cover as Karissa makes her way forward. Without Joe , Karissa will need the support
from all of us .
It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide. We also encourage everyone to keep their family in their thoughts and prayers during this tragic time.
