Karissa infertility due to cancer

Hi, my name is Juliann and I’m fundraising for my daughter Karissa. 

Karissa was diagnosed with endometrial cancer a month ago. Over the years she has been to many doctors due bleeding and was misdiagnosed as having a fibroid. 

Finally she found a doctor that took her serious and did the proper procedure to do surgery.  Unfortunately it wasn’t a fibroid it was endometrial cancer.  

Endometrial cancer is a disease in which malgant (cancer) cells form in the tissue of the lining of the uterus. 

Karissa will eventually have to have a hysterectomy at the age of 32. 

Karissa and Timothy have been together for 7 years and love each other very much. They been wanting to start a family for the past few years but because of her medical issues was not able too.  

Their only chance to have a baby of their own is to freeze her eggs before she starts Cancer treatment. 

This diagnosis has pushed them into a short window and insurance doesn’t cover fertility so we are asking for help. 

Karissa is an amazing Daughter, sister, and aunt. She is heartbroken as we all are with this diagnosis. 

She has always wanted children. My little girl is so beautiful, smart, loving and she wants a baby of her own. I wish her insurance could cover the cost but unfortunately infertility is not covered.
