Karla Frigard Memorial Fund

Karla Renée Frigard, passed away at the age of 49 on Dec. 19th in St. Louis Park, MN from complications related to treatment for breast cancer. She was resting peacefully with her husband, Lance and daughters, Samantha and Lauren. Anyone that knew Karla could tell you that she was able to create comfortable conversation with anyone, loved to experience everything life could offer and loved her family and friends fiercely. Her bright smile and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Prior to her passing, Karla was undergoing live-in physical therapy and medical treatment to try to regain strength from leg weakness that had resulted from cancer care and steroids. Upon the decision to perform a spine surgery to glue a fracture, she was moved to a hospital where she contracted pneumonia and was unable to recover.
Karla had amazing faith in the Lord and that faith never faltered through any of the struggles she faced since being diagnosed in 2017. We are comforted knowing that she is resting in peace in the arms of our Savior. As she often called on verses to comfort her, we call on this one in our love for her:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
As her final hospital and medical expenses are unknown, we expect them to be considerable. We are setting up this donation page for those that would like to help Lance, Sam and Lauren at this time and in the near future. We are not currently able to have any memorial or gathering at this time, so this is the greatest way we can be there to support Karla's family.
I am managing this GoFundMe page and all funds will go directly to Lance for he and the girls to use. All of us in the Frigard and Juilly families are grateful for any funds that are given.
