Karleen Pingel

Hey everyone. I am trying to help raise funds to cover the cremation costs for my Grandma, Karleen Pingel. She was a special lady who touched many lives as a friend, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, and so on. I know this is already an expensive time of year, but if you can, I know every dollar will help with the expenses.

These were her words she shared with us:

"I am 84 years old. I have lived a long, good life. Gordy and I have been married for 65 years and together for 3 years before that since the age of 16. I have 6 beautiful children and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Please do not feel sad for me. I want you all to live full and happy lives. I love you all so much."

Obituary

Karleen Kay Pingel, age 84, of Royal, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

She was born on May 31, 1938, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward Hall and Anna Spears Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings; Adaline Pettigrove, William Hall, Bobby Hall, Eda Jacobson, and Janice Clark.

Karleen loved taking care of her family and her pets. She enjoyed quilting and sewing on her embroidery machine. She loved to flower garden and to mow her lawn.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Gordon Pingel Sr.; her six children and their spouses: Robert and Bonnie Pingel, Gordon Jr., Cheryl and Tom Barber, Debra and Gregg Holcomb, Karleen and Rusty Roop, and Michael Pingel.
