Karsyn and Cameron Leeling Competing for USA!

Karsyn and Cameron Leeling have been invited to participate in the Coast 2 Coast International Athletics Track and Field meet, held in Queensland, Australia on July 15th & 16th 2023 at the Gold Coast Performance Centre. In order to be invited to this prestigious competition, the athlete needed to have met qualifying marks in their track and field events. These talented athletes from all over the United States will travel together to compete against high school athletes from both Australia and New Zealand in an IAAF U20 track meet. Many of these athletes are ranked very highly in their respective events and will be attempting to qualify for their national team.
The journey will start from Los Angeles, California where we will first fly to Sydney, Australia for a day, and then on to Brisbane Australia. From Brisbane, Team USA will take a bus to where we will be staying at the Gold Coast Performance Centre. This is an amazing facility where we will train, eat and sleep and connect with the other athletes from all over the United States until the 15th and 16th which is the two-day international track and field competition. At this competition, gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event, along with a team championship to the winning nation.
The final part of our journey will have us traveling to Hawaii for three days and two nights, where our coaching staff will take the athletes to a Luau and to Pearl Harbor.
To keep an athlete’s status as an amateur track and field athlete, a significant source of funds is voluntary contributions from family, friends, and local businesses. Your sponsorship will be a critical part of their fundraising efforts, so we are looking for sponsors like you to contribute towards them being an ambassador and representing the United States in this one-of-a-kind competition.
Any contribution will help them achieve their goal of representing the USA in this Coast 2 Coast International Track Meet. The total cost is $15,000 which will cover airfare, food, ground transportation, uniform, entry fee and lodging for Karsyn, Cameron and their mother, Amanda Sharman.
