Hello. My name is Timothy Peter Rookey from Middleton, Wisconsin and I've long been a good friend of Felix Cleto who lives in the Kasese District of Uganda. He is a devout Catholic and has a brother who is an ordained priest now pursuing studies in Rome. I can vouch for the trustworthiness of Felix who has a wife and a year old daughter. He has helped many orphans in his area over the years, especially the ones who were orphaned in a government orchestrated massacre that occurred there in 2016.

On June 23, 2023 a rebel Islamic group operating out of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo attacked his village. This demonic group entered a special secondary school for poor children there and massacred 20 girls and 17 boys with machetes and hammers after setting the school on fire. Many of the bodies were burned beyond recognition and 7 boys who escaped were hospitalized with severe burns. Another 10 children were abducted by the radical Islamists. My friend Felix asked me to create a gofundme campaign for his villagers. Some of his nephews and nieces were killed in this massacre. Over 150 of his relatives died in the massacre of 2016. Funds are needed for:

1) The medical bills of the surviving children who have been hospitalized

2) Mental health services for all who are suffering mental anguish from this traumatic massacre.

3) For six families who need money for DNA tests to identify their children who were murdered and then set on fire. A proper burial could then be planned for them.

4) To cover the future educational costs of the children in this poverty-stricken region of Uganda.

I've donated money and collected money for the people of this district of Uganda for a number of years. They've suffered from devastating floods in recent times and most of them are devout Christians who just wish to live in peace. Thank you for any aid you can provide for them.
