Kasie Sullivan Lost Her Apartment in a Fire

Hi, we are Danny, Louisa and Keith. On Saturday, July 15, 2023 a fire ripped through the apartment building where our daughter and sister, Kasie lived and she lost everything that she owned along with her roommates.

Thankfully, they were not home when the fire broke out in the apartment above them; and with the assistance of the brave firefighters, their two dogs were rescued from the burning building.

A few months back our daughter Kasie moved in with her best friend, and fiancé along with their two dogs. The 3 of them lived in a 2-bedroom apartment together, happy and safe as a family in Toms River.

Although Kasie has a great job and commutes to the Bronx, and she was making ends meet paying rent, insurances, student loans and commuting expenses, her means to replace everything she owned are limited.

Kasie’s employer has been gracious to give her the time she needs to get back on her feet and her family is supporting her emotionally, morally, and financially as best as they can. Additionally, the amount of insurance for the content replacement in the apartment was minimal and will be split 3 ways.

Kasie also has a small social media marketing business of her own, that she started in college. She used this business as income while she continued her education and now utilizes it to supplement her salary to make ends meet. Unfortunately, all her camera and computer equipment along with the irreplaceable data is gone forever.

We already are diligently looking for housing options that will best fit Kasie’s future needs. And we have many offers for clothing and some household items. however, we are asking if anyone can help Kasie.
