Dearest friends and supporters,

It is with saddened and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved friend, Kaitlyn Josephine, known to many as Kat. Kat fought a ferociously brave battle with necrotizing pancreatitis before she gained her angel wings. She deeply touched the lives of so many people with her kindness, strength, and unwavering, unconditional, love for her family and friends.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Kat's memorial services and final expenses. Our goal amount is $5000, which will cover the necessary costs. Any additional funds raised will be placed into an account for Kat's little sister, Araya, whom Kat cherished more than words can express. Kat's love for her sister was boundless, and we want to ensure that Araya is supported in the days ahead.

Kat's family is not in a position to cover the costs of the funeral services, and as a community who was loved and cherished by Kat, we want to come together to honor her memory and provide the support she deserves.
