Kat White Medical Fund

Hi everyone I’m putting together this Fundraiser for Kat White, an incredible selfless women who I have had the pleasure of knowing and loving like a sister for the past 7 years! Kat is an incredible friend to all that are blessed to know her. Kat came to the US from Australia with the vision of an American dream! She has worked incredibly hard to make her dream into a reality. She has been running her Newborn Care Specialist bussiness for almost 30 years. Many of her clients call her the baby whisper and she has become close family friends with many of them. She is one the most hardest working and loyal women that I know. Putting in over a hundred hours a week and giving her whole life to the families she works with, making sure they are confident and comfortable starting their new journey with their little ones. On top of that she is an incredible friend to everyone she knows, she is always going out of her way to make sure that everyone knows they are loved. She never forgets a friends birthday, or an important milestone in their life. She is always willing to give a helping hand and is probably the most supportive person I have ever met to all of her friends. Friendship like hers are few and far no matter how tired she may be from working she will no doubt be the first person to show up for you if you need help. There are not very many people that you can call a true friend, but Kat is definitely that person. Unfortunately Kat was injured and had to have an unexpected emergency surgery this morning. This unfortunately will require her to be off of work for the next 3 months at the very minimum. Kat is the sole provider for her family. So being out of work for this long is a huge financial burden to her household. Being self employed has a lot of perks but unfortunately one downside to is she doesn’t have any type disability or other insurance that help with the bills when something unexpected like this happens. Her husband Nick was able to get a job making Minimum wage it’s just enough for them to pay their medical insurance coverage each month. He is working as much as he can and taking on as many extra shifts as they will give him, all while helping her recover and get her to and from her doctors appointments and physical therapy. I know things are tight right now for a lot of people, but Kat would be forever grateful for any support her amazing friend are able to help with. I’m also going to set up a meal train for her and I will post the link in the updates when I get it up.
