Kate Gannon funeral expenses

Donation protected
My name is Stephanie David and I am reaching out to ask for donations to cover the funeral expenses for Kate Gannon with permission from her family. Kate was loved and blessed by so many people through her relationships and association with League City United Methodist Church. I and others that loved Kate would like to be able to assist her family with the unexpected financial cost of a burial. The un-timely passing of Kate has reminded me that you should not take others or time for granted as you never know when the Lord will bring us home. I believe that has recently resonated with many others as well.

I know social media and the local news covered the disappearance and circumstances related to Kate's death but what they didn't report is how much she meant to people. Kate was a huge animal lover and was very excited about getting to spend her Sunday mornings taking care of the babies in the church nursery. I would see her Sunday morning Facebook posts "Ready for my kiddos!" I had the pleasure of her company with me and my son at the Houston Dog Show several years ago. She was so excited to see all the doggies and get those wet-nose kisses. I know if she had the resources, she would have adopted all those dogs in the animal rescue booths. Kate also jumped at the chance to animal-sit and stayed with our four fur babies when she dog-sat for us while we were on a family vacation. I think her time getting to love on those four dogs was more of a vacation for her than my actual vacation. She was probably taking just as many photos of her time with the dogs as I was in North Carolina. I believe Kate never met a dog or cat she didn't like. Kate was also a huge cat lover and was a momma to several cats during the years I got to know her. Kate left behind two cats when she passed.

Kate suffered from several medical issues and did not have much in material offerings but she would gladly offer her prayers and friendship and she exhibited such appreciation for any kindness that was given to her.

I never had the chance to get to know Kate's mom as she had already passed by the time I joined the church, but I did get to witness the close relationship Kate had with her big brother Curtis. Her brother Curtis has to be one of the nicest people on Earth. Very soft spoken with a big heart. Kate loved getting to serve alongside her big brother Curtis on Sunday mornings while he ushered and she watched the babies. I attended one of her brother's art exhibits several years ago and she was so proud of Curtis's accomplishments.

I know nothing will bring Kate back but I believe providing for her funeral expenses would have brought her much joy to see that others she mattered. Please consider donating to Kate's funeral expenses, regardless of the denomination. This will ease the burden on her family while they recover from the devastating misfortunate of events these past few weeks. If you feel compelled please also consider leaving a condolences for her family on this site.

Donations will directly be transmitted straight to Curtis from Go Fund Me for funeral expenses.
