“Support Kate as she beats breast cancer”

Where can I even start?!   

February 2nd 2023 was the date my sister Kate’s world was turned upside down. At 36, she has been given the life changing diagnosis of breast cancer.   

A lot is still unknown, but her first fight starts on Thursday with a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. Obviously, with a diagnosis of this magnitude, there is inevitable financial stress. Kate’s inability to work and raise her family while she recovers from surgery and undergoes ongoing treatments, is a stress that no young family should have to endure alone.   

Anyone lucky enough to have Kate in their lives would know words can’t describe the incredible person she is. Loyal, generous, selfless and caring; Kate is the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter and friend. Our heart breaks for her and her family as she starts the fight of her life.   

Kate has been absolutely showered with love and support, with so many people reaching out asking how they can help. So here I am, reaching out to you to help ease some of that stress for her and her family, so Kate can focus all of her energy and strength to beating this awful disease. If you are in the position to contribute, every little bit counts.   

We truly thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.
