Katelyn Davis Funeral/Future Foundation

Donation protected
To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, Katelyn Davis passed away yesterday unexpectedly at the age of 18.  She was working in Washington DC for the Washington Times on a summer internship which was bringing her one step closer to her dream of becoming a sports broadcaster/sideline reporter. Katelyn was looking forward to a big sports interview this upcoming week and then returning to Houston/Pasadena on Friday.  Her parents, Kevin & Melissa Davis, have flown to Washington and are in the process of making arrangements to have Katelyn transported back to Houston, which will be followed by funeral services.

What has happened is beyond comprehension and Kevin, Melissa, and Katelyn's siblings are still in shock. Understandably, they are struggling to cope and make all the necessary arrangements.  They have already received numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offers a place for messages and donations to be left.

All donations will be greatly appreciated.  The expense of transporting Katelyn back to Texas, as well as funeral services are quickly mounting.  As many of you know, Katelyn's father Kevin is a war Veteran who is 100% disabled.  Melissa has been unable to work, as her need has been at home caring for Katelyn.  Your kindness at this time with any amount of donation would be an answer to prayer and sincerely appreciated.

If you would like to donate, just click on the donate button and donate whatever you can.  If you are unable to donate, you can still leave messages and comments for  Kevin, Melissa and Katelyn's siblings to read.  Please follow this page so that you receive updates regarding the funeral.  Most importantly, please pray for the Davis family at this time.

Katelyn was a follower of Jesus Christ.  I share with you her last FaceBook post from Friday, as I know her final wish would be to spread the Love and Promises of her Savior.

Friday at 12:05 AM:
"And Lord I am blessed enough to be slowly seeing what you are doing in my life, but I know your plans are far bigger than I can ever imagine!  Thank you Jesus for all the doors you have slammed shut and for the ones you have left wide open!".........
"This is why I try not to worry.  John 13:7 "Jesus replied, You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
