Katelyn Green and her kids

Hey everyone.

We have made this page to reach out to our friends, family, and community to ask for your help. Our dear friend Katelyn Green, born and raised in Macomb Il, has suffered a massive stroke at just 27 years, she's currently in the ICU where she has already underwent surgery and is continuing to fight for her life. She will have to go through extensive physical and speech therapy that will take time. This means she will be out of work for an unseeable amount in the future and will have all her living expenses and bills behind. Katelyn also has 2 very young children who are now staying with family. This has happened so unexpectedly, and now this devastated family needs our help. They desperately need formula, diapers/wipes, and snacks for the kids. If there is any way you or someone you know can donate, everything will go to the kids' and Katelyns bills. Whether it be money or food/supplies, anything will help. Katelyn's sister Dessa Powell will have a list of drop-off locations for anyone buying local/donating second-hand items. Please, if you can't donate, please share this page to get the word around and help us support this family in their time of need. We know this is a lot to ask for, but we wouldn't be asking unless we absolutely needed to. Let's show what a great community we are.
