Katelynn, Matthew & Sweet Amelia

To those of you who know Katelynn, you know she’s my absolute best friend and other half…she has been since i was 7 years old. She’s seen me through my toughest moments and stood strong by my side when I felt it was falling apart and I be dammed if I leave her in her time of need.

 Katelynn is currently 25 weeks pregnant with my sweet little niece, Amelia Renay. She’s due January 24th which is approaching quickly. In my eyes, Amelia is perfect because our God makes no mistakes, however medically speaking she has a plethora of medical conditions that will not allow her to survive after birth. We truly will be lucky to love her living body for just a few minutes.

 Katelynn is a strong woman and Matthew is even stronger (he’s had to deal with me and Katelynn for the past 10 years so he has to be), but there’s only so much they can take. Matthew is a middle school teacher and will only be financial able to take a short amount of time for paternity leave and we all know if we were in this situation that just isn’t enough.

 Katelynn and Matt have 2 beautiful girls, Aria Ann & Ava Mae. They’re also currently raising two of Katelynn’s younger siblings- Atlanta & Ricky. This is such a tough situation for all of them & I want to make sure that I do everything in my power to give them the ability to comfort each other in this situation.
