Kates Holistic Approach To Beating Cancer

Dear friends,

I come to you with a deeply sincere and compassionate plea. My dear friend Katie has been battling cancer for the past two years. She was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 breast cancer that eventually spread to her bones, liver and brain leaving her with 4 tumours in her brain, which now has become active again.

Through it all, Katie has been a true warrior. Enduring countless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, she remains committed to fighting with every ounce of her being. But the reality is that further invasive treatments may only cause more harm than good. At this point, Katie wants to explore alternative routes towards healing, such as holistic medicine and natural remedies.

Kate is the most beautiful mum to her son Theo and wants to spend as much time and support him and her family as she can, but the return of the active cancer has led her to not be able to turn back to work where she loves.

As someone who has gone through a similar journey, going through 8 weeks of radio and chemo myself, then taking the natural holistic route, leaving the doctors shocked to not be able to find the tumour in my body. I know the financial toll this takes. It's tough enough trying to support yourself, bills/ finances and everyday life but having to pay for healthy organic food, supplements, non-invasive treatments and health retreats. On top of Kate supporting a child, it can quickly become overwhelming. The stress of the financial burden can be unbearable at times, hindering your body's natural ability to heal.

No one age 30, younger or older should ever have to have to fight like this to stay alive so that's why I humbly ask for your support today.
