Katharina & Jhon in Philippines

Two children in the Philippines, that i know personally, that need support in accomodation, food, health and education.

My grandfather, Jakob „Köbes“ Angenvoort, has been hosting people, that lost their homes and families after the second world war, in his own house in lower Rhine valley, Germany. Based on our own believe, we support children in need with the aim to strengthen their life environment with long-term programs for life, accomodation, health and education. We took over the partnership for the 6 year old girl “Katharina” in Philippines and the 7 year old boy „Jhon Francis“ in Philippines.

We do not just take the partnership, but also know them personally, stay in contact on a weekly basis and send care packages. We met them on the street in 2018/19 and decided to support both of them for a better life. Jhon just finished his third year at primary school in Samar, Visayas, as one of the best ones. Katharina is going to the Kindergarden close to Catbalogan, Samar. Both really enjoy it and work hard to be good students. Objective is to enable them to make their own living and have a better life. However there are challenges and they need our support. We need support to send Katharina, a cute young girl, to the eye doctor so that both pupils are balanced to look straight ahead. She also needs the dentist that the main teeths are being aligned in one row . Jhon needs school materials for his primary school and Anabelles house needs urgent repairs in the roof. These are just the basics for a decent life - also to buy rice to eat.

For all spendings, as far as possible, we can show the receipts to check where the money is being spend in. For example I receive the receipts of the schools, the products being bought as well as receipts of materials to repair the houses. We also send care packages with clothes and toys that help a lot - however the kids need education and health. We would appreciate very much your support.
