Katherine Benton House Fire VA Beach

On Tuesday, December 17 our sister
Katherine, a local of Sussex County, Delaware, now living in Virginia Beach, came home from work. She walked and fed her best buddy, Flex, like it was any other day. She then went out to grab dinner and about an hour later she received a call from a neighbor to rush home because her house was on fire.

She rushed back to find her front windows blown out and the fire growing to a point of total destruction.

Her baby, Flex, ran upstairs to run away from the origin of the fire but he did not make it out alive.

Our sister has lost everything and unfortunately her home insurance company is not going to cover the total cost to get her house and belongings back.

We are grateful she is physically ok and was not harmed and we are doing all we can to help her cover the cost of her loss. Anything anyone can give to help her during this tragedy is a true blessing.

We are so grateful for all of those who have reached out, your prayers and your support. Please pray that she may find comfort and be sure to count your blessings.
