I come to you all, on the behalf of our family, we ask for your prayers and love as we mourn our beautiful sunflower.

On September 21st, 2023 Katherine Colon, a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend was

killed by a New Britain police officer who was speeding and struck her with his vehicle. We are truly heartbroken by this tragedy and lost with words. Our beautiful mother deserves to be laid to rest with honor and dignity. She was not just a woman who died tragically, she was a caregiver and loved by so many.

The legacy of our mother will live on within me and my siblings. Her spirit is so beautiful and shines so bright within my sister, brothers, and little cousins.
