Dear friends, family, compassionate strangers,
My name is Kathleen Boyland and I was born in the world on April 1st, 1989. As I was celebrating my birthday at a waterfall in Bali where I currently live, I slipped and fell roughly 20 feet down a cliff. I am extremely grateful to be alive. The only major injury I sustained is an Acromioclavicular dislocation. What this means is that my collar bone is no longer attached to my shoulder. The only way for me to regain any shoulder mobility is to undergo reconstructive surgery. God willing, the surgery will take place in Bangkok within three weeks time. I currently do not have the resources to cover the cost of the reconstruction.
