We lost our mom Kathryn Bailey (Trillingham)

We're devastated to share that our mother, Kathryn Bailey (formerly Trillingham), passed away suddenly from a very aggressive cancer on Tuesday, September 5. Work on a formal obituary is underway, but right now the pain is simply too new and shocking to say much more than this:

The words "I love you" came easily from her, but never cheaply. She lived with the hope that her children, family, and friends would live long and happy lives. She wore her heart on her sleeve and wanted nothing more than to have a positive impact on those closest to her. This kindness extended to strangers and neighbors and their families. To say right now that she is missed, would be an understatement.

As if dealing with her loss wasn't enough, the managing of her affairs, funeral, and memorial service created an unexpected and relatively extreme financial burden for her children Charlie, Andrea, and Sonya. Kathy was not a person of means and left behind no real estate to speak of.
