Kathryn's Story

Hello friends and family! I want to start by saying thank you for thinking of Kathryn and the McGregor/Pomroy family in their difficult new chapter of fighting cancer. Kat is a fantastic mother, wife, daughter and friend. As a pediatric oncology nurse, she has dedicated her career to helping children, and their families navigate the cancer world.

As some of you know, Kat was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma on October 5th. Kat has been navigating her cancer journey from a totally foreign perspective, as the patient and not as the nurse. We hope the funds we raise will lessen the burden of treatment costs, childcare, gas, basic living expenses, and so much more. Giving Kat and her family peace of mind and support as we all stand with her to overcome this diagnosis. Kat is a strong person inside and out; she is always the one lending a helping hand. This platform will ensure that she doesn’t have to fight alone.
