My parents have to make their bathroom handicap accessible in order for mom to make it home from rehab. There’s some other items we’ve got flip too (like a ramp) so we estimate this will cost to be around $25k. These improvements aren’t short-sighted… with my dad’s Parkinson’s, honestly these renovations toward accessibility will allow for him to be more independent and able to stay home longer, too!

Sometimes asking for help is HARD. And we know that God will provide… but I felt compelled to create and opportunity for some to give toward this cause. Many have asked over the last two months how to help… so here’s a specific tangible need to help my parents! Any additional funds above the cost of fixing the bathroom will go to offset the mounting medical bills.

Don’t worry, this isn’t our first rodeo at construction projects… between the three church building projects dad oversaw in Delta and the two coffee shop buildouts I’ve worked on… we know that it costs more and takes longer than you “expect” or are quoted. Ha! So we’ve prepared for this… and we are frugal- we know how to stretch the dollar and we’ve got a great community of people who have offered to help execute these fixes.
