Kathy Sickler’s fight against Multiple Myeloma

Donation protected
Kathy Sickler was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma back in 2014. This is a white blood cell cancer that forms in the bone marrow, treated with chemotherapy, radiation, and a stem cell transplant. Back in 2014 she went to the Mayo Clinic, fought and beat the cancer.

She has recently learned the cancer has reocurred. Kathy will have to go back to the Mayo Clinic for 4 weeks in March 2023 to have another stem cell transplant. She will be staying at the Gift of Life Transplant House during her time down there. Until then she will start chemotherapy here in Duluth.

It takes a strong person to fight cancer. It is a terrible disease that has affected so many people in so many different ways whether they’ve gone though it themselves, helped a loved family member or friend.

She has a long fight ahead of her but I know she has a lot of support to help her through this. Any donations, likes and shares will be greatly appreciated.
