Kathy's fight with melanoma

As her family, we are raising funds to help with the medical bills and absence of work that she will ensue with this fight for her life. Mary Kathryn Golden (Kathy) is a mother of 3 whose life is her family. She is the best mom, daughter, niece, cousin and friend anyone could ask for. She goes above and beyond for the people she loves even if she has to suffer. She is one of the strongest people out there. On June 9th she received biopsy results from a mole on her face which the Doctor said is stage 3 melanoma. Throughout June she had multiple Doctors appointments and scans in June and July. This past Tuesday the Doctor went in and removed a large portion of her left cheek and is saying her margins are clear. She has an appointment on Tuesday, July 25th with the Oncologist to see what the next form of treatment is. She has been pushing herself very hard by continuing to work multiple jobs so her family does not suffer. We would like to take some of that burden off of her so she has the strength to fight this and heal.
