Medical Expenses for Kathy Whalen
Donation protected
Kathy has been fighting lymphoma for almost a year now. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation last fall, her PET scans came back clear in December. We were hopeful she had beat it. Unfortunately in early March, the lymphoma had returned more aggressively as a brain tumor attacking her frontal lobe. After an initial brain surgery, Kathy is currently undergoing extensive radiation and chemotherapy, which she must be hospitalized for during treatment.
Kathy Kirkegard Whalen is the beloved mother of six children, and grandmother of six grandchildren. She is a long term resident of the small town of Minco, Oklahoma. She has dedicated her life to raising her children and making sure they were raised to be respectful and caring people. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder, and supporting her hometown Bulldogs. Kathy is an employee of the Canadian Valley Technology Center, where she has worked for over ten years. However, due to her ongoing health issues, she is currently unable to work.
At this time, Kathy is unable to make any medical decisions for herself. She has been hospitalized since March 11, 2017 and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. We ask for those of you who are willing to help, to give a monetary donation to help offset the cost of her medical expenses. We would also like to ask for continued prayers for Kathy, as she has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
