Katie and Eric's fire tragedy

Donation protected
December 1st, Katie and Eric were called at work and told that their apartment was on fire. After racing to the apartment complex, they were met by firefighters. Not much was disclosed to them, but they did find their Husky safe, their cat was still missing. After about an hour, the firefighters came out with Katie's beloved cat, Nilla. Her cat needed medical attention for smoke inhalation. The vet gave Nilla oxygen to get his levels back up, and he was also put on steroids for his lungs.

After the initial shock set in, Katie and Eric were allowed back into the apartment building to collect any belongings that were not destroyed. Unfortunately, not much was able to be saved; most was ruined due to water and smoke.

During this holiday season, please consider donating. Katie and Eric have lost everything, their bed, linens, towels, furniture, kitchen items, clothes, other household items, and most sentimental items she had as a child was destroyed as well.

Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated by Katie and Eric
