Katie and Her Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Teeth

Katie's owner was forced to move out of state for medical reasons and was unable to take her with him. She was left in the care of roommates until rehomed. Knowing that my family and I were missing our beloved cat, Jenny, a mutual friend reached out to us for help. We took her in as a foster only to immediately fall in love and officially adopt her as ours.

She is a lovely cat. She never misses an opportunity to cuddle, she quietly meows for attention, and she even tolerates our 1-year-old, who wants nothing more than to chase after her for pets.

Katie has been brought up to date on her vaccines and had a thorough health exam, approving her for dental treatment. We knew she would likely need some extractions, but it was worse than anticipated. She has broken teeth that left roots in her pockets that are causing infection. Her canines need to be extracted as well. A total of 7 teeth!

The cost of her dental will put us in a bit of financial stress.
