Katie Guajardo is a hard working employee of the film industry that was diagnosed with stage IV sarcoma cancer in August of 2023. As many of you know, the ongoing writer's strike has severely impacted the film industry leaving many professionals with financial uncertainty. This, combined with the medical cost for treatment, has placed a tremendous financial burden for Katie and her family that includes her husband and two young daughters.
