Katie Callison Confronts Cancer

Katie has recently discovered that she has breast cancer.  At this point, the plan is for Katie to have chemotherapy, then a mastectomy. She will not be able to work while she is undergoing chemotherapy for 16 weeks (8 rounds). After the chemo, she will have the mastectomy,  and will need time to recuperate.

She needs help paying for the various medical and insurance costs. She is a substitute teacher and will be getting insurance through COBRA for the next few months.  Brad recently started a new job after a period of unemployment, and will become eligible for health insurance benefits through work in a few months.
