Katie & Clark Lost Home In Eaton Fire: Fund Essentials
Donation protected
20 years ago, I met Katie Wilson at UC Davis. She instantly became a best friend, a favorite roommate, and a lifelong companion. And 3 months ago, I watched her tie the knot with the perfect man for her, Clark, and start married life together. Then the Eaton Fire in Altadena burned their home to the ground in a matter of seconds.
Thankfully, they escaped unscathed and their animal unharmed, but with only the clothes on their backs and a couple of important documents.
At a time when they should be celebrating wedded bliss, they are instead starting over -- they're looking for their next residence, purchasing essentials like clothes, food, toiletries, cat supplies, a mattress, and soon to navigate the uncertainties of insurance claims and deciding what's ahead next.
Thank you for the support you can offer to rally around Katie & Clark as a community and let them know we are thinking about them during this difficult moment and the moments to come.
